Annotation

The article shows the Moscow world fended in the narrative by I. Shmeljov; explains the large amount of an endnote information which is keeping here and appears to be important for explanation in a foreign auditory. It tells of the origins of the names of Moscow streets. A great attention is spared to the churches, their names which had played a significant role in the history of Moscow. It is given the description of the merchant mode of life in Zamoskvorechye and food as a part of the national culture. It is narrated in the article of the skill of the most famous Moscow confectioners, of continuation of the traditions of the national confectionery art in our days.
