Archetypal images of socialist realism in the mirror of russian prose of the 1990s (based on the novel by Yu. Buida “Don Domino”)

Annotation

The article examines the peculiarities of refraction in the domestic prose of the 1990s of archetypal images and symbols characteristic of the art of socialist realism. Based on the material of Yuri Buida’s novel “Don Domino”, the transformation of the symbolic image of the train, the archetypes of the Hero, Father and Son, Mother, Enemy is shown. The author's position is mainly based on the concepts of H. Gunther, E. Dobrenko, K. Clark, O. Demura, who identified the main archetypal images of the Soviet myth, discovered its ancient pagan basis and Christian layers. The analysis reveals the techniques of deconstruction of the key images and motifs of the Soviet myth.
