Annotation

The article deals with the reconstruction of a number of key discussion and conflict doctrines and their separate special aspects in the Judean society of the period of the so-called Hellenistic Crisis, i. e. the period of deadly persecutions of religious, ideological and military nature instigated by the Seleucid king Antiochus IV Epiphanes (175–164 BCE) and supported by Jewish Hellenisers, faithful Judeans and their leaders (Hasidim, Maskilim). It also traces the multidimensional collisions of the initial period of the first religious war in the history of mankind — the Maccabean war, which also developed into a war of national liberation. A mathematical model of a specific stage of this ideological confrontation (extensive-form game with a description of strategies and preferences) was constructed on this basis, and its analysis was carried out using the methods of mathematical game theory. The resulting model solutions are compared with the known actual results of the stage of ideological confrontation in Judea during the Hellenistic era.
