Annotation

Having outlined the main dominants of the study of Pushkin's little tragedy «Mozart and Salieri», the researchers note both the features of its similarity with the mystery, and the features of its' differences. The research methodology is based on the hermeneutic analysis of the fundamental relationship between the sacred logos of culture and their profane counterparts - archetypes, which forms the uniqueness of its code. The part that defines the whole of a culture is, first of all, its sacred code. While referencing to the research of M.A. Dudareva a conclusion about the apophatic essence of the Russian sacred code was made, and then a hypothesis about the dominance of the doctrine of kenosis in it was put forward. The profane code of culture not only opposes the sacred code, but is also determined by it. The plot of the little tragedy is given by the logoi of martyrdom and grace as in the mysteries. Mozart is correlated with the suffering Christ and his biblical prototype, who is Abel. Biblical counterparts of Salieri are Judas and Cain. The theme of poison brings him closer to the serpent-tempter. The mysteries unlike modern drama combine comic beginning and tragic one. Pushkin modifies the mystery genre. His comic pathos is correlated with a positive hero, whom the mythologemes of Orpheus and Homeric laughter are also projected on. It is concluded that Mozart embodies the mysterial logoi in the language of archetypes.
