В статье дается обзор, приводится систематизация и предпринимается критический анализ механизмов поддержки языка и нематериальной культуры водского народа, осуществляемых энтузиастами спасения водской культуры и представителями государственной власти с момента зарождения последней волны национальной ревитализации на Северо-Западе России и по настоящее время (1987–2023). Сделаны выводы о степени эффективности рассмотренных в работе мер поддержки, а также предложены рекомендации по реформированию существующей системы механизмов в интересах дальнейшего сохранения и развития языка и культуры водского народа.

The article provides an overview, systematization and critical analysis of the mechanisms of support for the language and intangible culture of the Votian people, carried out by enthusiasts of the preservation of Votian culture and representatives of state authorities since the inception of the last wave of national revitalization in the North-West of Russia to the present (1987–2023). Conclusions are drawn about the degree of effectiveness of the support measures considered in the work, as well as recommendations for reforming the existing system of mechanisms in the interests of further preservation and development of the language and culture of the Votian people.
