Annotation

Anthropological vector of religious and philosophical searches of G. Cherbury and J.A. Comenius in the projection of the ideas of rational theology The purpose of the article is to clarify the meaning of the philosophical searches of such thinkers of the XVII century as G. Cherbury and J. A. Comenius, who summed up the spiritual achievements of the Reformation era and the intellectual movement of the Enlightenment prepared. A parallel analysis made it possible to identify the fundamental positions of Cherbury and Comenius, for whom the search for the best method of scientific knowledge met the tasks of rational theology and culminated in the creation of universalist religious and philosophical teachings. They focused on the topic of nature, the formation and education of man, as well as his role in society. The similarity of images, ideas and concepts of the compared teachings, taking into account the moral and psychological aspects of a person as a holistic personality with his characteristic religiosity of natural properties, is noted.
