Forgiveness as a gospel imperative and an existential problem philosophical and religious aspect Part I Forgiveness in the sermon on the mount
Annotation
The teaching of Christ is a call more than prescription. In this context the firmness of Jesus establishing the rule of forgiveness is even more surprising. The forgiveness is in the center of the evangelical ethic, but it has not become the rule of life neither personal nor social. The purpose of the study is to describe the meaning of forgiveness in the perspective of the actual theological and philosophical thought and to outline the way to solve the existential problem of forgiveness. The first part of the work is dedicated to the theme of forgiveness in the Sermon on the Mount.
