MODERN CHINESE CRITICISM OF IVAN BUNIN’S LITERARY LEGACY AND HIS SCIENTIFIC RECEPTION IN CHINA

Annotation

The article is devoted to the issues of receptive perception of prose and poetry by the classic of Russian literature of the early twentieth century Ivan Bunin (1870–1953) in the People’s Republic of China. It is shown that the world of Russian literature significantly influences the scientific worldview of Chinese scientists and the intellectual hobbies of the Chinese reader in the new conditions. During the coverage of the problem, the emphasis is placed on the fact that the moral and ethical components of Russian literature, Bunin’s prose and his poetry significantly affect the aesthetic side of the works of Chinese authors. It is demonstrated that the active involvement of the works of Russian buninologists significantly enriches the depth of analytical research of Chinese scientists. The similarity of the problemthematic level of Bunin’s artistic heritage and ancient and modern Chinese poetry (literature in general) allows us to speak about the similarity of universal human perspectives of different cultures.
